(New York, NY) – The NYPD says they’ve handcuffed a suspect in three random hot water attacks. Cops arrested Larry Martin on Thursday after he allegedly assaulted three separate women over a one-hour span on Wednesday morning. It’s alleged Martin tossed hot liquid in the face of the three women — a 49-year-old woman at 6th Avenue and 56th Street was the first victim.
Shortly afterward a 45-year-old woman was doused in hot liquid while leaving the subway at 42nd Street and 7th Avenue. Martin also stands accused of using his hot liquid attack on a 35-year-old woman — several blocks south. The three victims have been treated for burns and swelling but they’re expected to recover.
Martin now faces charges of assault.
