(Babylon, NY)  — Police on Long Island have reportedly made at least one arrest connected to the human body parts that were found scattered in Babylon and Bethpage last week. Neighbors say they are relieved that cops have a handle on what took place. Police have not released the identities of the victims, but the bodies parts reportedly belong to a 59-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, who are from Yonkers. Investigators tell NBC that a love triangle was the likely motive for the gruesome murders.

It was last Thursday morning when kids walking to school first spotted a human arm. That touched off a larger investigation. Eventually cops found a human leg, and a second arm. Then, on Friday, a woman’s head was discovered. The two arms were found about 20 feet away from each other. Each belonged to a man and had tattoos. Then, in addition to the woman’s head, a female arm and leg were found.
