(New York, NY) –The human leg that was found this past weekend on subway tracks in the Bronx, likely belonged to a man who was hit by a train and killed a week before. The “New York Post” says cops tell them that the leg probably came from a man who was killed by a train in Lower Manhattan the night of February 11th. That man either fell or jumped onto the tracks, and the leg is being tested to see if it’s a match. Cops think it likely is

What is still unclear, is how the leg traveled from the the Spring Street subway station in Manhattan, to the train tracks in the Bronx where it was spotted by a conductor on Saturday.  One theory is that a train dragged the leg for days before it fell onto the tracks.
