(Clifton, NJ) — Gas station workers across Northern New Jersey are on edge as a gunman has been robbing, and in some case beating up attendants. One worker at a gas station in Clifton was able to chase off the wanted robber with a squeegee, but he says he easily could have been shot. Police say the same gunman had just robbed a station in Hasbrouck Heights, pistol whipping a worker and running off with money.
Police in Paterson are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store. They believe it’s the same man behind the other hold ups. Cops say they want to find the gunman before he becomes more violent. He has made of with a few hundred dollars in the robberies. There is good surveillance video of the wanted man.
