(Brooklyn, NY) – Cops were dealing with a suspect on the lam this weekend. They eventually corralled the furry fugitive. It was on Saturday in Sunset Park when a white sheep was spotting roaming. Using a police trailer the animal was eventually relocated to the ASPCA.
No one showed up to claim the sheep. It was then sent to the Skylands Animal Sanctuary, located in Wantage, New Jersey — up in Sussex County. Authorities aren’t sure who owns the sheep or where it came from. On X, formerly Twitter, the NYPD posted a succinct message: “Not baaaaad for a group of cops with no experience shepherding a sheep.”
