(New York, NY) — City Hall will begin imposing a curfew on around 1,900 migrants living at four city shelters on Tuesday. Neighbors near some of the shelters have been complaining about the migrants over the last few weeks. Some have been seen going door to door asking for money and clothes. Neighbors also complain that many of the migrants are just hanging out on sidewalks at all hours of the day and night.

The shelters with curfews are located in Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. Migrants will need to be in the buildings by 11 p.m. and stay inside till 6 a.m  Any migrant who breaks the curfew three times in 30 days could be forced to leave the shelters. City Hall has not said when and if other migrant shelters across the city will have curfews.
