NYPD arrest
BAY RIDGE, NEW YORK – A 22-year-old man was arrested on Thursday in connection to an alleged rape that occurred last Saturday. The suspect allegedly broke into a woman’s home.
Mohammad Izzeddin, of Bay Ridge, was taken into jail on multiple charges after police say he and another man broke into a home and raped a 49-year-old woman.
Izzeddin claims he thought the home was a prostitution spot, according to police. Both Izzeddin and the other man held the woman captive and forced her to engage in sexual intercourse.
Izzeddin is now facing charges, including rape, robbery and unlawful imprisonment. The man who accompanied him is on the loose and is described as in his 30s, between 5 feet 9 inches with black hair.
