NEW YORK, NEW YORK – An MTA employee was assaulted earlier this month during his work shift. The incident occurred at the Cypress Avenue subway station.
The 55-year-old male employee was cleaning the mezzanine area when he was approached by an unknown male individual. When approached, the victim was punched.
The victim suffered from a laceration to the face and was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln and is in stable condition.
The unknown individual fled the station to an unknown location.
