(New York, NY) – The US southern border is continuing to deal with an unending flow of migrants. Border agents say 14,000 migrants recently showed up to the small town of Eagle Pass, Texas. Republican Congressman Tony Gonzales has accused President Biden of abandoning border communities.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been begging the federal government for help but says no help has been coming. The mayor spoke about the problem on 77 WABC’S Cats and Cosby program and said it’s a complex problem that’s also left the city with a $7 billion deficit.
Adams says that city officials will need to make extremely painful cuts in the budget next year. He also says the migrant crisis in the city was bigger than expected.
