(New York, NY) – It’s been 43 years since John Lennon was murdered in New York City. And as word broke of his death, a radio reporter was covering the story — and got a big scoop. Here’s the story of how the Big Apple — and the world — learned Lennon had been shot dead by Mark David Chapman.
