WASHINGTON, DC -Efforts by lawmakers on Capitol Hill to push for legislation in keeping AM radio in new cars has hit a roadblock –for now. Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz said the plan for automakers to drop AM radio broadcasting in cars is a big mistake. However– Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul who opposes the bill—argues it would force mandates on private companies. But –there appears to be a possible silver lining –saying he would vote in favor of the bill if the electric vehicle tax credit was scrapped.
