(Tel Aviv, Israel) — Early Wednesday morning, Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire in Gaza to allow hostages to be released and to let in aid. The deal would see at least 50 hostages, all women and children captured by Hamas terrorists released in exchange for 150 Palestinians held by Israel. The truce is set to to last for at least four days to put the exchanges of hostages in place. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the truce would be extended an extra day for every additional 10 hostages released by Hamas.  The deal will also let in trucks to bring fuel and medical supplies to Gaza, which has been under non-stop bombardment since attacks by Hamas on October 7th that killed well over a thousand in Israel.
