UNDATED– New York Congressman George Santos says he won’t seek reelection saying “my family doesn’t need to be under the gun by the press all the time..”
This coming after the House Ethic Committee released a report condemning his conduct and the conduct of some staff members—with two of them pleading guilty to wire fraud.  Santos says he will not step down. The embattled Long Island Republican is already facing a host of charges which includes wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, and credit card fraud.Â
Santos has already survived a House vote to expel him from Congress. The Ethics Committee is expected to introduce a resolution to expel Santos.
A vote is most likely to occur after Thanksgiving.
