(New York, NY) – A 15-year-old boy is dead after he got into a crash with an SUV, while riding a moped in Washington Heights. It happened around 1:30 PM on Thursday, near the intersection of West 185th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue.
Reports say the teenager was thrown from the moped as a result of the collision. He was rushed to the hospital where the boy was pronounced dead. The driver of the SUV stayed on scene and spoke to police.
