PHOENIX — The Texas Rangers are World Series champions for the first time in franchise history, after shutting out the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0 in Game 5 of the series in Phoenix. The Rangers have been lights out, winning 11 straight games on the road since the start of the post season.
