(Tel Aviv, Israel) — Israel says it killed dozens of Hamas fighters in overnight strikes on the Gaza Strip. There’s no sign of a let up in the bombardment, as the U.S. is asking Israel to let more humanitarian aid into Gaza. The Palestinian health ministry says more than five-thousand people have been killed in airstrikes since the Hamas attack on Israel earlier this month killed more than 14-hundred people. Israeli tanks are massed on the border with Gaza waiting for orders to launch a ground invasion. The U.S. is reportedly asking Israel to hold off on it’s ground invasion until more of the American hostages are freed.
