(New York, NY) — The parents of a missing 13-year-old boy say they think their son, Kavion Brown jumped into the East River Friday afternoon on a dare. He disappeared in the water a short time later. Brown had left his home in Brooklyn on Friday to watch a soccer game in the East Village. His parents say they believe he had gone into Manhattan with his basketball coach and team. NYPD scuba crews will be back in the East River today searching for the six foot tall teen’s body.
