(New York, NY) — Mayor Eric Adams is celebrating, what he calls a full recovery of jobs from the COVID pandemic. New state labor statistics show New York City now has over four-point-seven million total private and public sector jobs, a record high number. Adams says the city has regained all of the 946-thousand private sector jobs that were lost during the COVID-19 pandemic, marking a new phase in the city’s economic recovery.
