WASHINGTON, DC -Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan on Tuesday failed to get a majority vote for Speaker of the House. Lawmakers are expected to vote again Wednesday morning. Jordan says he’s not dropping out, saying former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy didn’t get in on the first floor vote. Jordan needed 217 votes, but he only picked up 200. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries picking up 212 votes.
