UNDATED- Kevin McCarthy says he has no plans to resign from Congress. Some media outlets say the California Republican planned to step down after being voted out of his Speaker post by a group of conservative republicans. The move angered them, mainly over his brokered agreement with democrats in passing a short term bill to keep the Federal Government running. McCarthy was the first Speaker to be voted out of office in the history of the United States.
