(New York, NY) — Mayor Adams says he will travel to Central and South America beginning Wednesday to learn more about the journey migrants make to the U.S. The mayor will meet with migrants, local and national officials on a four day trip with stops in Mexico, Ecuador and Columbia. NBC says the trip is designed to learn about a misinformation pipeline that encourages migrants to continue crossing the border and then asking to be bussed to New York.
