Storm Cape May
(Cape May, NJ) – After being downgraded from a Tropical Storm, Tropical Depression Ophelia is continuing to make an impact around the Tri-state area. Following what was a wet and windy weekend, the storm is expected to continue bringing rain into the region until sometime mid-week.
In parts of Southern New Jersey, especially in coastal areas, flooding has been reported. In some cases, first responders had to rescue stranded motorists. The storm really hammered the Carolinas and Virginia over the weekend, before moving into Delaware and up the Atlantic Coast. On Tuesday, the forecast calls for more rain, giving way to clouds in the afternoon. On Wednesday, look for sunny skies with a high near 65 degrees.
