Synagogue Threats New Jersey
(New York, NY) — Synagogues across the tri-state have asked for and will receive beefed up police patrols on Yom Kippur Monday. The move comes after there were a slew of bomb threats against some Jewish institutions on Long Island and in the Hudson Valley last week. None of the threats ended up being real, but worshippers were evacuated from some synagogues so police could search them. There is no word who is behind the threats, that all came via email.
