(New York, NY) — MTA bus drivers are getting the protection they say they need from passengers. They have complained over the last few years that riders have punched and spitted on them as they try to drive through the city. The MTA will now install partitions on buses that will seal off drivers from riders in an effort to better protect them. On any given week, around 19 driver says they are harassed.
