NEW YORK, NY )- A Gridlock alert is in effect this week with the U.N. General Assembly in session. There are frozen zones in midtown, with police closing streets at a moments notice. The MTA is urging commuters to use the subways because of extra congestion and gridlock. Bus routes have been adjusted to get through the heavy traffic. President Biden will be speaking at the UN Tuesday.
