(New York, NY) – A New York City social media influencer has gone viral for her latest stunt. Apparently, waiting on cupid’s arrow was taking too long, so Karolina Geits took matters into her own hands. The 29-year-old TikTok content maker walked the streets of Manhattan recently holding up a sign that said, “looking for a husband.”

Speaking with Fox News Digital earlier this week, Geits says the idea originally resulted from a joke. She and her friends discussed the fact that dating apps were inefficient because striking up a chat takes time. So after receiving a cardboard box in the mail, Geits ripped it up and wrote the lovelorn message in black marker. On TikTok her video of the event has surpassed 10 million views and garnered 1 million “likes”. It was first shared on September 3.

Geits’ TikTok account has upward of 57,000 followers. In the past she’s recorded similar videos on the streets of New York City, with messages reading “need money for Cartier” and “need money for Chanel.” Ah, how romantic. Or capitalist, at least.
