(New York, NY) — It’s back to class today for the city’s 1.1 million New York public school kids.  20,000 of those students will be migrants kids who have arrived here over the last year from the US- Mexico border.  The Department of Education says those migrant kids will be given 30 days to get all their mandatory vaccinations.  Schools Chancellor David Banks says there is more than enough room for the migrants students, because so many students left the school system during the pandemic and never returned.
