(New York, NY)  —  Some New York City council members are warning  Mayor Adams that his push to get migrants jobs could backfire. The city’s Common Sense Caucus says it fears fast tracking working papers will incentivize more migrants to come, making the crisis worse for New York.  The caucus is made up of six Republicans and two Democrats. The mayor and governor have repeatedly called on the feds to expedite work visas arguing that it will free up much needed shelter space.
