(New York, NY) — An off-duty NYPD cop found himself in the fight of his life, when he got into a road rage battle with two brothers in Queens Wednesday afternoon. During the fight, the 26-year-old officer fought to hold onto his gun. It went off twice hitting the officer in the leg, another bullet hit one of the men fighting him. There is cell phone video of the fight. The officer was taken to Elmhurst Hospital. He is in stable condition. Both brothers are in custody with charges pending.
