(New York, NY) — Pedestrians are left hospitalized after a New Jersey Woman allegedly mowed down a group of people in Midtown with her car.
Authorities say the 29-year-old woman was heading east in her Honda along 36th street around midnight. It was around that time seven people were fatally struck by the driver after attempting to turn onto 6th avenue.
The woman fled the scene, but was later arrested after getting into another crash on the LIU in Queens. Six of the seven pedestrians hit in the crosswalk were taken to a hospital, with one severely injured.
