dog on subway tracks
(New York, NY) – A dog got loose on the subway tracks yesterday in Midtown Manhattan, resulting in delays. It happened around mid-afternoon, but by 4:00 PM the dog had been captured.
The dog first got onto the tracks near the 42nd Street-Grand Central station. Delays stretched into the evening, as service had to be stopped for a time. During that stoppage, 5-trains ran on the 2-line in both directions, between the 149th Street-Grand Concourse and Nevins Street stations.
