(New York, NY) – 77WABC’s own Curtis Sliwa is among the many who say they will chain themselves to entrance of a new migrant tent city in Queens tonight. On Thursday night, 100 migrant men were bused to Creedmoor Psychiatric Center, where the huge tent is set up. Neighbors say they are worried about who will be housed there. So, some of them say they are ready to be arrested tonight to stop more migrants from being sheltered in the neighborhood. Sliwa has already been arrested 77 times. Mayor Adams says New York City is scrambling to find more shelter space as the migrants continue to be bused into New York City from the U.S. Mexico border.
