(Des Moines, IA) — The Iowa State Treasurer’s Office found a mint condition, autographed Michael Jordan rookie basketball card in an abandoned safe deposit box. Iowa officials have searched for the owner with no luck. The treasurer’s office says the card has been authenticated. They are putting it up for sale. It’s not clear how much it will fetch at auction. The State Treasurer says if the owner of the card comes forward, they will hand over the card or the proceeds from the sale of it.
