(New York, NY) — A man is left in critical condition after being stabbed in Midtown, Manhattan, according to authorities.
The victim was a 76-year-old man who was stabbed Sunday evening by a panhandler around the 34th Street- Herald Square subway. Police say the senior citizen refused to give the suspect money, and upon walking away, the man was then stabbed by the panhandler in his torso.
The victim was rushed to the Bellevue hospital in critical, but stable condition. No arrests have yet been made.
