Washington, DC – A judge could soon decide regarding a protective order in former President Trump’s election interference case, which is being challenged by his attorneys.
The judge in the case gave Trump until 5 pm Monday night, to respond to the Department of Justice’s motion for a protective order in the case.
The DOJ is asking the judge to place limits on Trump’s speech about the case, after the former President posted, “If you go after me, I’m coming after you.”
Trump’s lawyers claim the order would violate the First Amendment.
