(Massapequa Park, NY) — The wife of accused Gilgo Beach serial killer, Rex Heuermann says she and her children’s lives have been destroyed since the 59-year-old was arrested two weeks ago. Heuermann is accused of murdering three women, who’s bodies were found on the Long Island beach more than a decade ago. His estranged wife, Asa Ellerup has moved back into the family home in Massapequa Park, after detectives spent 12 days searching it for evidence. She says her family is living a nightmare. The alleged serial killer is scheduled to appear in a Suffolk County courtroom on Tuesday.
