(New York, NY) – Ford is facing a major issue with its trucks, recalling nearly a million models from 2021-2023.

870-thousand trucks are set to be recalled on September 11 after documents released by Ford show a wiring bundle in the rear of the truck can come into contact with the rear axle causing damage to the wire. Officials say this may cause a short circuit with turns on the parking brake without the driver’s knowledge.

No crashes or injuries have yet been reported due to the problem.
