(New York, NY) — Migrants were sleeping in the streets outside the Roosevelt Hotel intake center over the weekend. The city can’t find enough new places to house those still coming from the US-Mexico border. Mayor Adams says he needs help from Washington to help take care of everyone still showing up on buses in the city almost everyday. Families arriving are being given first priority for housing. Those on the street this weekend were single men, who are last in line to get shelter.
