(New York, NY) — A single winning ticket was sold in last night’s billion-dollar Powerball lottery. The ticket was purchased at a downtown Los Angeles mini Market near skid row. The lucky winner, or winners, can choose between a billion dollars in annuity payments, or go for the lump-sum payment of about 516 million dollars. It’s the second time in eight months a Powerball ticket worth at least a billion dollars was sold in Los Angeles County.
