Jeffrey Epstein, DOJ report
(New York, NY) – A new report is blaming “jail guard misconduct” for the alleged suicide death of billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, while in police custody. The DOJ’s report holds the Bureau of Prisons accountable for his 2019 death, at the Manhattan Detention Complex.
The Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General released a detailed and scathing report, alleging the jail’s employees failed to conduct regular checks on Epstein’s cell. It further claims guards didn’t replace Epstein’s cellmate, leaving him alone for extended periods of time. He also reportedly had access to extra bed linens, which he allegedly used to hang himself.
