(New York, NY) — There was another subway surfing tragedy yesterday. A 14-year-old, riding an L train in Brooklyn was killed when he hit his head on the top of a tunnel. Mayor Adams says subway surfing has only become popular, because the videos of it get so many views on almost every social media platform. Adams is calling on TikTok to ban the surfing videos. The NYPD says they get at least two reports everyday of someone riding outside subway cars.
