(New York, New York)—NYC pet owners are heartbroken as police search for a man who stabbed a couple’s dog to death in Central Park over the weekend. The incident unfolded just a few feet inside Central Park, where police say a middle aged couple were walking their two dogs – a chihuahua and Eli, a 14-year-old service dog – who were viciously attacked by three unleashed Pitbulls. The couple attempted to break up the fight, but the Pitbull’s’ owner pulled out a switchblade and repeatedly stabbed Eli to death. The wanted man, described as wearing an orange shirt, hat and blue jeans, is currently being sought by the police.
