New York, NY (77WABC)-The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached media in connection to an assault within the confines of the 13 Precinct.
It was reported to police that on Monday, February 13, 2023, at approximately 9:40 am, opposite 19 Union Square West, a 36-year-old male was approached by an unidentified individual and, unprovoked slashed his back with a box cutter.
The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. The individual fled eastbound on East 16th Street.
