Staten Island, NY (77 WABC)-A former NYPD detective was stabbed to death last night in the West Brighton area of Staten Island.
Police say the 37 year old became involved in a dispute with a suspect dressed in all black wearing a ski mask while walking with his children.
He brought his children inside and went back outside where he was stabbed in his neck.
The man was pronounced dead at Richmond University Medical Center.
No arrests have been made.
