INWOOD, N.Y. (77WABC) — A car crashed into an Inwood bar and grill injuring 22 people Monday night at West 204th Street and Broadway around 9 p.m. and then sped off.
Police say a white Audi sedan is being sought in the crash that sent a SUV into the front of the restaurant. People in the Audi may have been involved in a dispute at a nearby gas station, and struck a Toyota Rav4 livery vehicle, which was operating as an Uber.
The FDNY says the people were treated and taken to area hospitals. Their exact conditions are unknown but no one is in critical condition.
A search continues for the Audi.
