WASHINGTON (77WABC) — White House Chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci most likely held his final news conference Tuesday.
Fauci is stepping down in December as head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases after four decades of service. Fauci said he never imagined the pandemic would continue for nearly three years, but he said he gave the job all he had.
More than one million American people died from COVID-19.
