NEW YORK (77WABC) — Its being reported the F.B.I. had as many as eight informants inside the Proud Boys movement in the months leading up to, and after the storming of the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
This is according to recent court papers reported by The New York Times, raising questions about how much federal investigators were able to learn from them.
Five members of the Proud Boys are set to stand trial next month.
