Fatal Stabbing Halloween Night in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. (77WABC) — A 38-year old man was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital after being stabbed in his chest on Halloween Night.

At 7:39 p.m., police were called to to 423 East 136th Street on a report of a stabbing.  Upon arrival, officers from the 40th precinct found a 38-year-old male with a stab wound to his chest.

The man was taken to the  hospital where he was pronounced dead. A 53-year-old man as taken into custody and also taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition with lacerations to his arms.

The investigation is ongoing.

The identity of the deceased is pending family notification. Police have not yet said what the relationship between the two  men was.
