NEW YORK (77WABC) — They will debate after all.
New York Republican candidate for governor Lee Zeldin agreed Sunday to participate in Tuesday’s Spectrum News’ general election debate with Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul –although he called for more debates before absentee ballots were mailed. The one hour debate will be held tomorrow, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. at Pace University.
Zeldin has continuously slammed Hochul for not agreeing to more than one debate and did so again Sunday.
Tomorrows debate will air on Spectrum News’ channels in New York state, and will be moderated by Errol Louis and Susan Arbetter.
