(Asbury Park, NJ) — Asbury Park High has cancelled it’s homecoming football game after anonymous threats were made against the school they were set to play.
The team was to take on Keansburg High Friday night. Keansburg officials and police did not detail the nature of the threats, but say Asbury High has forfeited the game.
Asbury Park leaders say the high school will play it’s Homecoming game now in November, so they can honor seniors who are graduating at the end of the school year.
